Robin Wermuth

Special Projects and Events Consultant

Robin joined DL3 in 2021 and is responsible for office and special projects management, along with all administrative duties to support the office.  She manages the Managing Principal’s calendar and external communications, including all aspects of marketing – firm and development specific websites, media relations, and social media.  In addition, she creatively designs and compiles RFPs and application submissions and conducts market research for prospective and planned development projects.

During her 25 years’ experience in the commercial and residential real estate, civil engineering, community development, and finance industries, Robin has managed offices for high-growth/Fortune 500 companies and provided support to several high-net-worth individuals.  Most recently, she was Executive Assistant to the Interim General Counsel and Secretary at Discover Financial Services.  Her project management work at Discover led to her being nominated for the prestigious President’s Award.  Prior to that, Robin was the Manager of Facilities & Special Projects with the Blackstone funded startup, GridLiance—a position she was promoted to after one year as Office Manager.

Robin attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison in the Honors Program, has completed the SHRM Essentials in Human Resources program, and is currently studying for her Project Management Professional® (PMP) certification.  She volunteers her time to those experiencing homelessness and food insecurity in Chicago.
